Message from the Chairman of B.O.M

Embakasi Garrison Secondary School is a KDF sponsored school among the 29 KDF schools across the country. The school is a public and mixed day secondary school that offers quality education to the children of military personnel and those from communities around the military cantonment. The KDF schools are mandated to offer safe learning environment to the children of military personnel who most often are away from their families. Since education is paramount in the welfare of the soldiers and their families we need to live by the school motto “Committed to excellence.”
The school offers equal opportunities to students from both military and civilians. The school has staff that is intrinsically motivated and dedicated to the objective of bringing up a full potential in students and facilitation to the actualization of their potencies. All these are achieved through the school core values of respect for all, quality service, and determination.
The school has a conducive learning environment by the virtue of being located within the barracks. The school has consoled their interest potentials and acquisition of knowledge and skills. It nurtures the talents and gifts of our learners to the highest levels. It has modern structures that are of high standards and learner centered. The school management believes in quality education as an enabler to mission readiness. It’s through commitment and hard work to succeed that the young minds can be sharpen.
